ELDERLY IN NEED

Most of the older generations in Romania are not planning to travel and pursue hobbies as their lives come to a close. Instead, there is a growing elderly population that is impoverished, struggling, and, at times, homeless.  

Dignity. Compassion. Friendship. These are the things with which we are honoring the 60 elderly people we serve as we show them faith, hope and love. Our friend and partner, Viorel Pasca is caring for an additional 15 people in his personal home in Dumbrava. Will you help us? 

Sponsor the Elderly in Need provides much-needed support and encouragement to those alone in their twilight years. The elderly we serve include those whose who are ill and whose children have left them, widows who are all alone, and individuals stuck in a poverty cycle they cannot escape due to their age or health. 

Your gift of $25 per month provides a monthly supplement of food, clothing, medicine, or assistance with utility bills, and it provides dignity to these beautiful people in the closing years of their life.
